Skin Tightening – Skin Contouring for a Perfect Bikini Season

Summer’s headed our way and we’re all starting to get very body-conscious. Although most people in LA stay in pretty good shape, even my patients dedicated to hot yoga and extreme spinning come in asking for a little help around this time of year.

Real results – not just promises
Since we’re only interested in treatments with very real, visible results around here, we took our time in evaluating the machines that claim to work.

Tackling Fat and Loose Skin
Whether you’re fretting about stubborn pockets of fat or sagging skin (or both), there are three great options to get you beach body ready.  CoolSculpting, Cooltone and Thermage are FDA-cleared, noninvasive, and work effectively to reduce fat bulges, tighten skin, and firm muscles.

Freezing the fat!
Coolsculpting freezes fat to the point of elimination (crystalizes fat cells so they break apart) and is ideal for addressing localized bulges say on the back, belly, and love handles.

CoolSculpting recently introduced new handpieces that are allowing us to target areas even more specifically, so those inner thighs and long areas up the back can be freeze-treated too.

Toning muscles
CoolTone is a fast way to intensely exercise muscles of the abdomen, buttocks and thighs

Which for you?
Depending on your body’s pesky fat deposits or skin laxity, one or both treatments may be right for you. CoolSculpting or Cooltone generates positive results that continue to appear for months after your last appointment. That means you’ll look great in your bikini this summer and in that yoga top long after bikini season is over.

Our Nurse Practitioner can provide a private assessment to determine which technology will work best for your problems.

(If you have deep structural laxity of the lower face, you may find that Ultherapy is a better option. Our FNP, Angela Sarff, is an advanced Ultherapist as well as a top-trained CoolSculpting technician and she will be able to guide you to exactly the best procedure choice.)

In-office consults can be scheduled by calling (323) 464 8046. We certainly won’t suggest you undergo a treatment if we know the only real option is surgical. So be prepared. If you have significant fat, are noticeably overweight, or have pronounced skin laxity, we may suggest you seek the advice of a surgeon.
