Re-Opening Monday, June 1, 2020
Dear Patients and Friends,
We hope you and your families are all healthy and safe during these challenging times. Never before in our lifetimes have we all faced a challenge like the global pandemic in which we find ourselves. Thank you for your engagement, support and understanding through these unprecedented times.
As we continue to monitor the dynamic shifts of the COVID-19 pandemic, we have now begun to thoughtfully re-introduce elective office care and procedures that were deferred or canceled during the initial COVID-19 response phase.
We began with a very small handful of patients at the end of May in order to “reboot”, and are now pleased to announce that regular (albeit with smaller numbers) scheduling for office care will begin on Monday June 1.
Of course, patient safety has always been a top priority. However, as we prepare to reopen our doors to resume routine patient care services, we are intensifying our already rigorous protocols and precautions to keep our patients, staff and physicians safe.
We are so happy to say WELCOME BACK!
What to expect at your appointment:
In compliance with social distancing, we have restricted our schedule to reduce traffic in our office. We will limit access to the clinic and ask that you come in alone with the exception of those accompanying a minor child or a senior or individual with disabilities requiring assistance.
We have instituted a no waiting room policy. We ask that you call from the privacy of your car upon arrival, and we will then have a medical assistant greet you at the office entrance. We do ask that you arrive to your appointment with a mask on for your protection as well as that of others around you. There are no exceptions to this policy.
Upon arrival all patients will be screened with a touchless temperature check and a brief COVID-19 questionnaire inquiring about symptoms or exposure. Those who do not pass the screening will be rescheduled at a later date.
Disposable facial masks and gloves are available upon entrance. Hand sanitizer stations have been set up throughout the office. Your medical assistant will then take you directly to your exam room. We will not be utitilizing the front desk-all check in, check out and consent forms will be done from your exam room.
All physicians and staff are screened in the same manner daily, and all will be wearing masks and goggles.
Air ventilation systems with HEPA filters and UV light have been placed in the reception area as well as all exam rooms. All rooms (chairs, countertops, trays, doorknobs, etc) are sanitized with EPA approved sanitizers between patients.
Finally, we’d like to say THANK YOU for all that you are doing to care for our community, so that together we can beat COVID19. Please do not hesitate to reach out if you have any questions, concerns or input into this process. As always, our goal is to deliver safe and high level treatment.
