Fraxel Dual Laser

Non-ablative fractional wavelengths

  • Target pigment and skin texture
  • Best for patients with mild-moderate sun damage and no history of melasma
  • Great treatment to do once a year for maintenance

Fraxel Downtime and Follow-up

  • 5 days of downtime with redness and sloughing of skin, mild-moderate swelling
  • PRP can be added to decrease downtime and build collagen
  • Sun avoidance for at least 2 weeks while skin is healing

Pico Genesis

Pico second laser with “acoustic” technology to shatter small grain pigment

Kybella

Injectable Deoxycholic Acid

  • Targets unwanted fat under the chin and jowl area
  • Best for patients with mild-moderate submental fat
  • (Some skin tightening from the inflammatory effect)

Kybella Downtime & Follow-up

  • General: Swelling and occasionally bruising
  • Significant swelling for 1-3 days then 4-5 days of residual swelling
  • Wear compression garment for 24 hours post treatment (Included at no extra charge)
  • Patients usually require series of treatments for best results
  • **If there is a significant amount of fat, Coolmini can be used to “debulk” the area first (very mild swelling and redness with Coolmini) then return for Kybella
  • Advantage of Kybella over Coolmini – Can target jowls and not limited to shape of applicator for patients who don’t fit in coolmini applicator
